So my question is, will the Genetic Modification allow me to do what I want, and if so, could anybody help me get it to work? I now also am wondering if even were I to get it to work, would Dark Injection parts even be available in the editor? As you usually have to unlock parts. However, after trying three seperate versions of the mod, I have had no success getting it to work in my game.

Researching further, I found my only option pretty much was using the Genetic Modification 2 Editors Mod to use the creature editor in later stages. I successfully installed Dark Injection v9, and while I enjoyed all the additions to the game, I was a bit disappointed with the fact that you have to add Darkspore parts in the creature creator, which is unavailable after creature stage when actually playing through the game from the early stages. Prior to this, I installed the most recent patches, including the robot parts.

So, I've recently gotten back into Spore, and decided to install some mods to freshen up the experience.
